All genres welcome. All members must be 18+ and applications must be in by 5pm, April 5, 2024 to be considered.
Heats begin in May with Semi Finals and the Grand Final to follow.

VOTING INFO
On arrival, all attendees will receive 2 voting tokens. Additional tokens are received for each bar purchase.
Crowd votes are weighted at 50%, with our industry judges having a 25% vote & our experienced live music staff having the other 25%.

Get your track (1 song), recorded, mixed and mastered in JMC Academy's state of the art recording studio, alongside a professional live performance video – fully produced, directed and filmed by JMC's team of creative industry professionals.
Recording and filming dates, and revisions and reworks at the discretion of JMC Academy.
Golden Tickets to ANY show at The Brightside for 2024
A "Golden Ticket" is a free-entry ticket that can be used for any show at Stay Gold, valid until the end of 2024. Excludes private functions, BIGSOUND, and The Brightside Birthday. Only performing band members will receive a Golden Ticket, does not include a +1. Grand Final golden tickets can be used multiple times.
